Introducción

Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 es el nombre comercial del próximo lanzamiento de Windows 10. El lanzamiento de esta versión se anunció en septiembre de 2018, respectivamente, tiene la versión 1809, 18 años, 09 meses. Se han escrito muchos artículos sobre la nueva versión de Windows 10 1809, pero la mayoría de ellos están dedicados a varios "arcos", "bellezas" y diversas funcionalidades que están en demanda en el hogar.

Este artículo se centrará únicamente en la funcionalidad que puede estar en demanda entre los fabricantes de dispositivos de propósito fijo. A saber, sobre las nuevas funciones del modo "Kiosco". También se abordará el tema de cambiar los nombres de los esquemas de servicio para las ediciones de Windows en el segmento corporativo.

Esquema de servicio antiguo con un nuevo nombre

Comenzaré con una pequeña explicación, en el segmento corporativo de las ediciones de Windows hay dos esquemas de servicio según los cuales Windows recibe actualizaciones. Los planes de servicio se designan por carta. Las ramas de servicio ahora se llaman LTSC y SAC.

LTSC son las siglas de Long Term Servicing Channel . Anteriormente, dicho canal se llamaba LTSB - Rama de servicio a largo plazo, Microsoft simplemente cambió el nombre del canal de servicio, el servicio en sí seguía siendo el mismo.

Además, Microsoft ha cambiado el nombre de la rama de servicio de CBB - Rama actual para empresas, ahora esta rama de servicio se llama SAC - Canal semianual . Nuevamente, solo ha cambiado el nombre.

Pero debe mencionarse que las ramas de servicio de LTSC y SAC utilizan diferentes distribuciones de Windows.
